With a goal of enjoying the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival and the Christmas Holiday decorations, we made our first trip to Walt Disney World in November. We were at Bay Lake Tower (BLT) at the Contemporary Hotel.

Background
As is our custom, we were early. Viviana came out from Victoria and Albert’s to visit. Whereas it’s Monday, Phil was off. David Russell was assigned to a pair of large parties on the other side of the dining room, but did stop by to visit. We were lucky to have an old friend, Malik, as our server. I started with a Maker’s Mark Manhattan (10) and Lyd enjoyed at Dewars and Soda (8). An amuse bouche of lobster bisque shrimp and crab chowder was presented. We ordered a bottle of Atalon Merlot (67) and we both enjoyed excellent Red Wine-braised Beef Short Ribs (46@) with melted Leek and Parsnip puree, wilted ice spinach, and hand-harvested mushrooms with natural jus.
