Tom has chosen Market Street Inn for Thursday's lunch. We were seated next to the fireplace in a very toasty spot. Savannah was our server and Miss Flo, the kitchen manager visited with us. We started with a bottle of a Joberg Riesling (23) and then each enjoyed a cup of their Meatball Stew (3.50@), which was excellent. Lyd picked the Mushroom Gouda Burger (13) of an all-beef burger topped with sautéed mushrooms, smoked Gouda and fried onion straws on a brioche bun and found it excellent. I picked the Cuban sandwich (11) of sliced roasted pork & shaved cappicola ham on toasted bread with Dijon mustard, pickles and Swiss cheese. We both had sides of their excellent potato salad. | ||||||||||||||||||
