At 0626, it's 66. At 0730 we pulled in the last line, officially departing, Catskill. We enjoyed another scrumptious breakfast. I went to the American Experience meeting which honors Eagle Society members, but is really a marketing meeting to entice a next-cruise sign up. We received a gift of embossed coasters as our souvenir for the trip. At 1100 Lew suggested we go down for the talk on "River Life," which was a mistake as he's not a very good story teller. At 1155, we docked in Troy. At 1230, it's back to the Dining Salon. Gene was anointed with a glass of Chardonnay and Jaime had to clean him up. We stuck with the Pinot Noir. Lew had the White Bean & Fall-Vegetable Soup and I enjoyed the Mixed Green Salad with Herb Medley, Red Wine Vinaigrette and Garlic Croutons. We both had the Grilled Steak Sandwich with Pickled Onions, Roasted Potato Salad, Marinated Tomatoes and Bleu Cheese Mayonnaise. Naps ensued. At 1730, it was back topside to Deck 4 for cocktails and then down to the dining salon for dinner. We both had Cider Barbecued Shrimp with Apple Slaw. Lyd had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with roasted red pepper remoulade, rice pilaf and broccoli saute and I had the Maple Lacquered Breast of Duck with corn-cranberry pudding, rosemary glaze and sautéed Brussels Sprouts. Lyd eschewed dessert, but I had a portion of a large slab of Chocolate Fudge Cake. Once again, we skipped the evening entertainment in favor of bed. At 2145, it's 49.
