Background

Guest Service Manager Danielle brought us up to date on the comings and goings of favored cast members and brought us glasses of champagne.
Chef de Cuisine Dom visited and sent over an amuse bouche of a very nice Butternut Squash Soup with Pork Belly in the bottom.
Lyd had a Beefeater Martini (9.25) and I enjoyed Vodka and Tonic (8.25).
We split the artisanal cheese tray (18) before I could get a picture.
Lyd moved on to the Oak Grilled Beef Filet (49) with potato puree, baby carrots, Cipollini jam and Bordelaise, accompanied by a glass of a waiter-selected wine (19).
I selected the Red Wine-braised beef short ribs (47) with cauliflower puree, baby kale, pickled cauliflower and natural jus.
Lew finished with Italian Coffee (10), decaf, of course, and I finished with Key Lime Tart (10).
