At 0630, it's 41 in Salisbury and we are headed for Disney World.
Lyd did Margaret's R&R and we left the house at 1000.
Buddy was deposited at Weeping Willow Kennels, a place he seems to like, and we headed for the airport.
We check two bags and then went through security.
My metal hips force a more intimate screening, but it's pretty routine.
We boarded the little Dash-8 and departed at 1215, 16 minutes late.
30 minutes later, we were on the ground in Philadelphia (PHL).
We secured gate information and took the shuttle bus to Terminal-C, walking to the food court between Terminals B & C.
Asian Chao caught our attention and we selected lunch.
Lew had bourbon chicken and an egg roll over fried rice and I had Orange Chicken and mushrooms, also over fried rice (19.93); a lot of food at a reasonable price, at least for airport food.
We walked out to Gate B7 and our flight was already boarding.
Since our flights had been changed by American Airlines, depriving us of our normal 1000 flight, we were in row 4 behind two girls of 7 and 9; part of a family of 5.
At 1417, we departed on 27L, only 17 minutes late.
We declined the offered snack, but did have drinks, arriving at 1615 at MCO.
Chris Peters, of Mears Transportation, our regular driver, was waiting for us and took us to Bay Lake Tower.
By 1730, we were in the room, having secured liquid provisions and headed for Citricos at the Grand Floridian. Just after 8, we headed back to the room to find an assortment of chocolates had been delivered. We secured them and went to bed at 9:30. We were awakened by the Wishes Firework show at 10, and again, at 1030 by housekeeping(!) whom I dismissed. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
