We're headed for Walt Disney World. At 0445: the alarm awakened me and Lew was already in the shower. The drive to the airport was easy, with only one deer spotted. Baggage check was easy, as was TSA, even though the promised scanner has not yet arrived. We departed SBY AT 0647, only 2 minutes late. At 0717, we touched down on runway 35 for the short taxi to the cattle yard. We took the shuttle bus to the "C" concourse and walked to the BC food court. We split a Black Forest Ham, egg and cheese sandwich from Subway before heading for Gate B13. SKDL soon joined us. By 1020, we were boarding and Leo got to visit the flight deck. At 1035, we pushed back. We were wheels up at 1054 on 9R. Lew had a scotch and soda and I had a bourbon and ginger. She chose the fruit and cheese tray and I picked the hummus. We landed early and learned that Chris Peters hadn't been able to get the van, so Sheikh Ali was our driver. He took us in a pouring rain to BLT where we learned our room 7622 was ready. We unpacked and Lew went down for a nap. Kate, the boys and I went over to the Fantasia market and did a little shopping. After returning to the room, SKDL went in search of an early dinner. Returning to the room, they announced that they're headed for the Magic Kingdom. We left the room at 1745 for the monorail ride over to the Grand Floridian noting how empty it was, headed for Citricos. After dinner, we returned to the room where we were in bed by 9, just as the fireworks began.
