| We took Monorails to EPCOT, watching a monorail switched from the EPCOT beam to the express beam, and entered the park at 0800. We walked back to Test Track when it opened. Sal caught up with us and we went in. It was fun, but a little too much for Lew and me. We had planned on Mission Space, but it is closed until late June, so we went back to Spaceship Earth and walked right in. From there we headed for the DVC lounge. It didn't open until 1000, so we walked into Imagination, eschewing the Fast Passes. Then it was upstairs to the DVC lounge for refreshments. We walked out to World Showcase, arriving at 1100, just as it opened. We took the boat to Morocco and walked towards Italy, stopping at the American Adventure. Lunch was at Via De Napoli. After lunch, we separated. SKDL went back to Soarin' and then the Mexico boat ride. In the meantime, Lew and I checked the kiosk at Germany in search of her necklaces. They sent us to the Outpost where she learned her favorite necklace was no longer made, but found a great substitute. We headed back to the room via a pair of monorails. I had a 2 hour nap, and found it raining when I awoke at 1700. A check with the front desk suggested the launches would be unreliable, so I took a cab to Wilderness Lodge and Artist Point. At the same time, while Lew performed grandma duties, Sal and Kate went to the California Grill for dinner. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
