Sal and Kate are going to California Grill.
Michael greeted them and Leo brought two separate amuse bouche. They started with Truffle-scented Tofu Roll (22) of Avocado, Jicama, Quinoa, Crispy Fingerlings, Silken Tofu, & Truffle Emulsion. Sal had the California Combination Roll (24) of Jumbo Lump Crab, Avocado, Cucumber, and Shrimp Tempura while Kate ordered the Seared Hokkaido Scallops (48) with Spanish Piperade, Confit Fingerlings, Pimenton Aļoli, Fennel, Serrano Ham, and Bergamont. They finished with the Chocolate Pudding Cake (14) of Luscious Chocolate Cake with Nutella Filling, Meringue Kisses, and Chantilly Cream and the Warm Homemade Fritters (13) of Berry-stuffed, Cinnamon-dusted Fritters complemented with a Trio of Dipping Sauces.
