Saturday:
At 0620, it’s 41o.
Following Margaret’s R&R, we were on the road to Weeping Willow Kennel by 0815 and headed north by 0845.
After stopping at Chick-fil-A, we arrived at SKDL’s house at 1220.
Both boys had baseball practice and FSU Baseball lost to Louisville 6-1.
Sal grilled salmon and Kate prepared yams and roasted asparagus as sides.
At 2011, it’s 53.
Sunday:
At 0636, it’s 48 in Wyomissing.
By 0730, everyone was down and Sal activated the Treasure Hunt he had set up for the boys, culminating in their discovery of Alexa in the family room.
We were served a hearty breakfast of eggs, sausage, English Muffins, and fruit, followed by Leo’s piano practice.
We played a game of Risk, but ran out of time when it became necessary to set the table.
There were 19 for the dinner of Lamb, ham, mac & cheese, Anne’s death potatoes and a variety of salads, followed by a variety of desserts.
At the end of dinner, Dominic and Leo went home with Ann and Santo and we were in bed soon after 2000, with a forecast of snow.
Monday:
At 0555, it’s 33, with about 2” of snow in Wyomissing; nothing to stop us from leaving and we were on the road at 0710.
Visibility was poor, but adequate over I-176 and on the PA Turnpike to King of Prussia.
By the time we were on the Blue Route, I-476, it had changed to all rain.
We picked up Buddy and were home by 1145.
