Tom selected Longhorn Steakhouse for Thursday's lunch. Lew started with a glass of Turning Leaf Merlot (8.49) while I had iced tea (2.99). We both selected soups. Hers was a cup of loaded potato soup (3.99) and I had the cup of Lobster Chowder (3.99), both of which were excellent. She moved on to the Firecracker Wrap (8.79) of grilled chicken and cheese wrapped in a crispy flour tortilla with avocado-lime dipping sauce, which she pronounced to be very good. I had the Shaved Prime Rib sandwich (11.88) topped with onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese on French Bread, but there was a lot of fat and not very good. | ||||||||||||
