We'll do standby for Buzz Lightyear and Winnie the Pooh. We have 0935 Fastpasses for Peter Pan. Then it's out to Frontierland, where Pop, Gram, Kate amd Dominic have a 1035 Fastpass to Pirates and Sal and Leo have a 1055 on Thunder Mountain. Lunch will be at Cosmic Ray's. There's a 1555 FP at the Seven Dwarves' Mine Train, but Lew and I will have gone back to the room for naps. The six of us will go to the 1815 dinner show of the Hoop Dee Doo Review. At 0630, it’s 77o. At 0700, everybody is up and ready to go when Sal announced a voicemail on their room phone has revealed our bag is at the Contemporary having come in, overnight, on the Disney Magical Express from the airport. At 0735, in fresh clothes and, me, fully medicated, we’re headed for rope drop at the Magic Kingdom. We passed through screening on the walkway over to the MK and into the park. We enjoyed, in rapid succession, Buzz Light Year, Winnie the Pooh, Small World, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, The Haunted Mansion, and Peter Pan. Sal and Leo did Thunder Mountain while the rest of us did Pirates of the Caribbean. We were at the shooting arcade in Frontierland at the moment of the summer solstice. Then it was on to lunch at Cosmic Rays before returning to the room for naps for Gram and Pop, the gym for Sal, and the pool for Kate and the boys. We left the room at 5 for the Contemporary dock and quickly caught a launch across Bay Lake to Wilderness Lodge where we checked in for the 1815 show of Hoop-De-Do-Review. We had seats close to the stage for the dinner of Fried Chicken, ribs, salad, mashed potatoes, corn, and beans, followed by Strawberry Shortcake. The six Pioneer Hall Players put on quite a high energy show, with audience participation that included Leo being selected for an on-stage role during the Davy Crockett finale. We then caught a launch back to the Contemporary dock for the short walk back to the BLT room at 2100 and bed for most of the family.
