We're schedule to arrive in Hannibal at 1300, and to depart at 1800, bound for Davenport, Iowa.

At 0600, it’s 68o just south of Hannibal.
At 0800, we moored on the east side of the river, tied to large trees with our forward gangplank in the grassy bank of the river.
After breakfast (corned beef hash, bacon and rye toast for me), the ladies took the bus into town.
Lew pronounced it interesting, but very hot.
I stayed onboard.
We secured our regular table for lunch, sans Patsy, who remained in town.
The afternoon brought rest and Patsy returned just in time for cocktails and a 6PM departure for Fort Madison.
I had prepared place cards for our 7 diners and reserved our table for
dinner.
I returned to the room and the ladies went to the evening entertainment of a doo-wop singer. We went to bed underway to Fort Madison.
