| With Mears Transportation taking us all to MSP, we will depart on UA1605, at 0850, headed for Chicago, arriving at 1025. Patsy's flight is 20 minutes after ours, but also to Chicago. We'll all have lunch at ORD with Patsy leaving at noon for Knoxville and us boarding UA 4852 for a 1400 departure, arriving in Allentown at 1705. Following Andrew's Transportation back to Wyomissing, we'll secure Buddy from the kennel. | |||
| At 0545, we turn off the alarm and got out of bed at the St. Paul Hotel. Daniel, Mears Transport, picked us up at 0640 for the trip to the airport. We checked in with United while Patsy checked in with American. We breezed through TSA and then waited for Patsy to get a heavy searching. We had doughnuts and went to our separate flights. We departed MSP for ORD on 15R, on schedule and landed about 10 minutes early, so there was no gate. When we finally deplaned, we asked the gate agent for a tram to take us over to the F gates, but it never showed, so we walked. Lunch was crackers, cheese and salami. Our Allentown flight was delayed, not delayed, and then moved to a different gate. We finally took off from ORD headed to ABE on 9R. Mark was waiting for us for the drive home. We went to Willow Creek to secure Buddy, and then went home. |
