| We're scheduled to arrive in St. Paul at 0230, disembarking at 0800. We're spending the night at the St. Paul Hotel, in downtown St. Paul. Dinner is at the St. Paul Grill. | |||
| At 0600, it’s 72. We dressed and packed and vacated room 502 before 7. We joined Patsy at breakfast and said out goodbyes to Lady. The airport-bound busses left a little after 7 and the St. Paul Hotel bus, just after 0730 with Monica on board. We arrived at the hotel at 0830 to a lobby full of passengers replacing us for the cruise back to St. Louis, where the boat will recess a week. Monica will go home for two weeks before joining the American Harmony in New Orleans. There were no rooms ready for us, so Lew and Patsy went walking, and I found a comfortable table in the lobby. At 11, we decided to have lunch. By this time, we had rooms and rested in the afternoon. We went back down to dinner at 1830. By the end of my 2nd manhattan, I was feeling no pain and we went down for the night. |
