At 1745, we headed for the monorail and our return to the Grand Floridian and drinks with Mark Evans at The Enchanted Rose.
Lew had a glass of Trimbach Riesling (12), Mark had a Long Island Iced Tea (15) and I enjoyed my Maker’s Mark Manhattan (14).
Whereas Mark’s from Salisbury, too, he and Lyd did a lot of reminiscing about people and places they have known.
Diane Petit, Contemporary GM, called to check on my well-being, as well. Following drinks, still a little hungry, we tried the Top of The World at Bay Lake Tower, but it was too crowded, so we picked up my scooter and went to the Wave Lounge. Lew had a glass of Frank Family Cabernet (24) and a cheese tray (16.50), and I had a Maker’s Mark Manhattan (15) and a Chocolate Flight (11), returning to the room about 2030; | ||||||
