Vin de Constance is a Klein Constancia Estate Wine, from South Africa

These historic vineyards formed part of the original farm Constancia,
whose legendary wines were sought after by the 18th
and 19th
century European aristocracy,
requested by Napoleon and praised by Dickens and Jane Austen.
Lying in this fertile valley on the narrow Cape Peninsula,
our vineyards are favoured by a cool and gentle maritime climate,
creating near-perfect conditions for premium win growing.

We first encountered Vin de Constance when it was recommended as a pairing for
Hudson Valley Foie Gras at the California Grill at Walt Disney World, 2006.
In 2008, Disney caved to PETA and stopped serving Foie Gras.
