APPLE PIELETS  
Lyd adapted this from a Food Network show.
Ingredients:
2 granny smith apples
2 Pillsbury pie crusts
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
lemon juice
Reddi Whip
Procedures:
Peel, core, half and slice the apple halves; sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
Toss the apple slices in the mixture.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread the slices on the paper.
Bake at 400o until golden, {About 12 minutes}. Cool.
Meanwhile, spread the crusts on a floured surface and cut into 4" circles.
Reline the baking sheet with more parchment paper and place the crust circles 1" apart.
Prick each circle in several place with the tines of a fork.
Bake the crusts in a 400o oven for 12 minutes and cool.
NOTE: Do not bake the apples and the crusts at the same time or the crusts will not crisp.
Assembly procedure #1 makes 3 desserts:
Place 1 crust on the dessert plate.
Arrange apple slices in a single layer.
Cover with a layer of whipped cream.
Repeat with another crust, apples and whipped cream.
Assembly procedure #2 makes 6 desserts:
Place 1 crust on the dessert plate.
Arrange apple slices in a single layer.
Cover with a layer of whipped cream.
