Peach Crisp  
Ingredients:
2.5 Cups Sliced Peaches
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 Cup Butter (1/2 stick)
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
1/2 Cup chopped pecans
1/2 Cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Whipped cream, [optional topping]
Procedures:
Boil the fresh peaches until the skin begins to split; remove and cool to easily peel.
Peal and slice the peaches into 1/2" slices.
Put the slices in a 1.5 quart round pyrex dish.
Mix the remaining ingredients until crumbly.
Spread over the slices.
Bake 25-30 minutes at 375o.
Serve hot or cold, with or without, whipped cream.
Notes:
2018-08-25: Pecans were added to the recipe.
2016-07-30: too wet and not at all crispy but the flavor was still good.
2016-07-23: added to the cookbook.
