TOLL HOUSE COOKIES

Ingredients: |
2 sticks butter
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
|
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2.25 cups flour
12 oz chocolate bits
1 cup chopped black walnuts
|

Procedures: |
Cream the butter and white sugar and then add the next 5 ingredients.
Fold in the flour.
Fold in the chocolate and nuts.
Drop on to parchment paper-lined cookie sheets.
Bake at 375o for 15 minutes.

2024-09-15: 1/2 chocolate; 1/2 butter scotch
2020-12-21: Running low on Christmas cookies, we made a batch to get us through Christmas Day. 4 trays of about 7 dozen.
2018-12-17: We used Ghiardelli semi-sweet chocolate, and, at 17 minutes per tray, made 77 cookies.
2018-08-29: milk chocolate morsels were used instead of semi sweet. 7 dozen.
