Walnut Cookies |

This comes from Margaret's cookie recipe box; adapted from a recipe of Aunt Edith Williams. |
|
Ingredients: |
2 eggs
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup black walnuts
pinch of salt

Procedures: |
Beat the eggs with the whisker attachment until very light, about 5 minutes.
Add the sugar gradually and beat again.
Add the flour and walnuts.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and drop the teaspoon-sized cookies on it.
Bake at 375o for about 15 minutes, until the edges are a light brown.
Remove the paper from the pan immediately.
In about a minute the cookies can be removed from the parchment paper.

2022-12-19: 3 (16,14,9) trays in 2 baking cycles of 17 minutes each.
2021-12-15: 46 cookie at 17 minutes at 375.
2020-11-30: 31 cookies; a little too big; 15 minutes at 375o
2019-12-17: 41 cookies for Christmas
2018-12-18: three trays at 15 minutes produced 43 cookies.
