Crispy Orange Beef
This is a quick dinner and produces leftovers for lunches.
Ingredients:
1.5 lb Flank Steak
1.5 Cup Cornstarch + 2 T
Canola Oil to fill the pan 1/2" deep
1 T EVOO
Fluffy Rice
Orange Pepper Sauce
Procedures:
Slice the flank steak into very thin strips, about 1" long. (The smaller the cut the crispier the finished product.)
Toss with cornstarch and shake off the excess.
Fill a large frying pan or wok with enough oil to cover the bottom by 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
Spray the cooking tongs with Pam.
Heat the oil to a high heat and fry the steak pieces in batches without crowding the pan.
Drain on paper towels.
