ELAINE'S BEEF BRISKET |

Another goodie from Elaine Laws. She served it to the family and we begged for the recipe. |

Ingredients: |
4-5 lb. brisket
Garlic Salt
Black Pepper, Coarse
2 Tablespoons Penzy's BBQ of the Americas
1/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 Cup Liquid Smoke
1/2 - 3/4 cup of BBQ Sauce

Procedures: |
- Rub with garlic salt and coarse black pepper.
Marinate in the Worcestershire and Liquid smoke for 24 hours in a Ziploc bag.
- Cook fat side up at 250o for 6-6.5 hours.
Keep covered with foil while cooking.
When done wrap meat and refrigerate.
- Put the marinade in a wide mouth container and refrigerate until the fat hardens.
Spoon the fat off the top and discard.
- Slice the brisket very thinly across the grain when cooled thoroughly.
- Add the BBQ sauce to the marinade.
Heat on the stove top until warm.
