Baked Chicken Salad - Elaine

This comes from the kitchen of Elaine Laws. |

Ingredients: |
2 cups cut-up cooked chicken
1 cup cooked rice (NOT Minute Rice)
1 cup cooked diced celery
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
3/4 cup mayonnaise

1 can sliced water chestnuts
1/2 cup sliced almonds

1 cup corn flakes, crushed
1/3 stick butter, melted

Procedures: |
- Mix the first 8 ingredients in a large bowl.
- Place in a casserole and top with crushed corn flakes mixed with the butter.
- Bake at 350o for 45 minutes or until bubbly.

Notes: |
2016-07-02: This did not turn out well.
2014-06-28: the almonds were rancid and not identified until served.
2010-10-22: We're going to serve this to the Laws family at our house.
Elaine doubles this for a large family dinner.
