Hot Chicken Salad
Ingredients:
4 cups cooked chicken chopped
1 cup celery diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
French fried onions
2 tablespoons EVOO
Procedures:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together all ingredients except Breadcrumbs and EVOO.
Pour into a baking dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Spread evenly.
Spread breadcrumbs and EVOO over top of chicken salad mixture. Top with pats of butter.
Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes until lightly browned and heated throughout.
Notes:
2023-12-13: Served with a green bean casserole and preceded by foil gras and a bottle of gewurtztraminer.
