Slow-Cooked Duck Half
The pre-cooked Duck halves are purchased from Hudson Valley for $33 (2020-10-01)
Ingredients:
1 slow-cooked Duck Half from Hudson Valley Foie Gras.
Procedures:
Roast at 3500 4000 for 15-20 minutes until the skin is crisp.
Notes:
2023-12-30: Served with sweet potato, the leftovers went into Sunday’s sauerkraut soup.
2023-11-17: With scalloped apples.
2022-01-07: Excellent, with the leftover scraps into baked chicken salad.
2021-11-11: Roasted, covered, in the Breville oven at 450 for 20 minutes. Served with sweet peas, Leftover German Potato salad, and a bottle of Jim Jam Sweet Shiraz.
