Greek Meatballs |

Ingredients: |
Balls:
3 lbs. ground beef
1 lg. onion, grated (or chopped fine)
Salt (optional – we don’t use)
Pepper, to taste
1 c. bread crumbs
1 c. tomato juice (or V-8)
1 tsp. allspice (essential)

Sauce:
48 oz. tomato juice (or V-8)
1/3 c. catsup
1 T butter
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 c. water

Procedures: |
Knead together all ingredients above until thoroughly mixed.
Roll in palm to form 1 ½” balls.
Broil 8 minutes; then turn them over and broil additional 6 minutes.
Combine sauce ingredients in large saucepan and bring to a boil.
Boil 5 minutes.
Add balls and simmer 30 minutes.
