SCALLOP BROIL |

| Ingredients: |
1 pound sea scallops
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
|
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
|
|
| Procedures: |
Preheat Broiler
Put scallops in one layer
Sprinkle with garlic salt, pepper, paprika.
Broil for 4 minutes
Sprinkle with melted butter and lemon juice.
Turn and Broil 1 minute.

| Notes: |
2026-03-16: using the Breville, this did not work well. I had the pan on position two instead of position one broiled for six minutes instead of four. Turned and broiled two minutes more. There was no crust.
2018-01-17: we sautéed the scallops.
2014-09-21: For the three of us, served with broiled tomatoes and a spinach salad.
2014-08-18: with a Waldorf Salad.
