Cognac Shrimp
Ingredients:
18 Large shrimp, shelled and deveined
1/3 Cup Cognac
1/4 t Pepper
3/4 t Dried Basil
9 Slices bacon, cut in half
Procedures:
Marinate shrimp in cognac, salt, pepper and basil for 1 to 2 hours.
Wrap shrimp with bacon.
Bake at 375o ~25 minutes
Notes:
2023-11-29: 4 shrimp each of the 15/lb shrimp
2022-12-12: 5 shrimp each, and served with sweet potatoes and pearl onions.
2022-01-01: 5 each for a snack on New Year’s Day.
2020-07-15: We used brandy instead of cognac and served with an avocado mandarin orange salad.
2008-06-27: Added to our cookbook.
