Creamy Grape Salad
Ingredients:
2 pounds seedless red grapes
2 pounds seedless green grapes
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons chopped pecans
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Procedures:
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla until blended. Add grapes and toss to coat.
Transfer to a serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans just before serving.
Notes:
2024-11-22: A side for beef and noodles.
2024-07-21: Served with Lamb Albondiga.
2023-05-21: Made to go with leftover sausage & red peppers.
2023-04-23: We used 1.5 lbs each of the grapes, omitting the brown sugar garnish. We think slivered almonds will be better then pecans, and plan to add diced celery.
