CLARIFIED BUTTER

Ingredients: |
1 lb. | Unsalted Butter |
|
Procedures: |
Heat a pound of butter, slowly, in a medium saucepan.
Let stand for 10 minutes until cool.
With a slotted spoon, skim off the foamy solids on the top.
Pour off the clarified butter into a container, discarding the watery residue.
Cover and refrigerate.
