CREAM OF CRAB SOUP
Ingredients
3 T Margarine
1/4 cup flour
3 cups 1/2 'n 1/2
1/2 lb back fin crab
1/2 t Old Bay
1/4 t celery salt
1 small onion, diced
1.5 t chicken bullion powder
1/4 t Worcestershire
dash lemon juice
Procedures:
Combine 1st 3 ingredients to make white sauce.
Sauté onions in butter until clear.
Add everything but the crab and lemon juice and heat through.
Add crab and lemon juice and heat.
Notes:
2016-12:22: For the annual Holiday Oyster Festival.
2014-05-26: A Memorial Day course with steamed crabs.
2009-08-22: Lyd combined the two recipes into the one that is here, now.
Prior to 2009-08-22, we had two recipes and there were good parts to both recipes.
