MUSHROOM CANAPÉS  
 
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons butter
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, chopped
8 oz. cream cheese, cubed and softened
1 Tablespoon dry white wine
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon hot sauce
1 baguette
Procedures:
Melt the butter in a skillet; add mushrooms and sauté 10 minutes or until liquid has evaporated.
Process the cream cheese and next four ingredients in a food process until smooth.
Stir in sautéed mushrooms and chill at least 2 hours.
Cut bread into 1/2" slices of 2.5" diameter.
Spread the mixture on the slices.
Experiment with garnishes.
