HERBED DRESSING

Ingredients:
1 granny smith apple
3 sticks celery
1 onion
2 cups Chicken broth
12 oz pepperidge farm herb stuffing cubes.
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 cup pecans (optional)
Procedures:
Peel, core and chop the apple
Sauté onion, celery & apple until tender, adding stock if too dry; cover to sweat, don't brown.
Add the poultry seasoning and s&p.
In a large bowl pour the stuffing cubes and add the veggie/apple mixture.
Add stock to reach desired moistness.
Bake, covered, at 350o until heated through.
Both the temperature and time are flexible depending on what else is in the oven.
