Mashed Rutabaga |

| Ingredients: |
1 Rutabaga
1 Cup Carrots
1/2 Cup Onions
4 Cups Chicken Stock
|
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
2 T Sugar
Nutmeg, Fresh
Salt and Pepper to taste

| Procedures: |
Dice the rutabaga, carrots, potato and onion.
Cook in the chicken broth until tender.
Drain and blend in a food processor.
Add the cream, Splenda, Salt and Pepper, and grated nutmeg.
Continue blending until smooth.

2026-01-25: With Flounder Francaise, this wasn’t as good as usual.
2023-12-31: A part of New Year’s Eve, and served with foil gras, filet mignons, Dolce Vito, and finished with Brandy Alexanders.
2022-12-16: Served with Osso Bucco.
2021-02-19: A batch was made and served with a half duck. It just wasn’t as good as always.
