18th Panasonic Academic Challenge

We anticipated it would take about 30 minutes to review the Foreign Language videos. 2½ hours later we had fixed the terrible questions and I left for the room and then, onto EPCOT.  We communicated by cell phone and met at an Innoventions café.  We took in Imagination, the Circle of Life at the Land and then Lyd, Kate and I utilized the fast-pass option to walk right into Soarin', waiting 5 minutes rather than the posted 90 minutes.  Soarin' is a gentle ride which works on the senses, not on motion.  It was excellent. We had a light lunch in the food court at the Land and then went over to the Universe of Energy.  We walked out to World Showcase and watched the acrobats at China.  After that we went through The American Adventure and returned to the room.  We went to dinner early at Artist Point so Kate and Sal could go back to EPCOT for Illuminations.  Lyd and I were back in the room a little after 2000. The fireworks were at 10 and the boat parade shortly thereafter. Kate and Sal actually made it back to the Magic Kingdom after Illuminations and were able to catch the fireworks as well.
