For dinner, Tom has selected Georgia House (formerly Chef Fred's.) We each had a cup of the Cream of Crab soup (3.99) which was OK. I ordered a Maker’s Mark Manhattan and they told me they didn’t have any Maker’s Mark, but could make it with Dewars (which is a scotch) or Ten High. What they finally brought (4.75) was the color of pee and was vile. I had a side salad which was covered in bacon and was quite good. Margaret had the smaller sized portion of meat loaf (9.99) and said it was terrible. Lyd’s crab cake sandwich (11.99) was all bun and the Savannah Fish and Chips (14.99) wasn’t very good either. The prices have come way down, but the signature cuisine of Chef Fred’s is gone. We were disappointed. | ||||||||||||||||||
