At 0545, it's 54 in Yonkers, NY. At 0800 we went down for breakfast. At 0930, we departed with a dozen other passengers for Sunnyside and the home of Washington Irving. We returned just in time for lunch. Lew started with Apple-Butternut Squash Soup while I had a Caesar Salad. We both moved on to a grilled Angus Beef Burger. I skipped dessert, but Lew had Pumpkin Pie. Then it was nap time. At 1730, thanks to mild temperatures, we had cocktails on deck 4 again. At 1830, we returned to the dining room for dinner. We both started with the Lobster Bisque. Lew moved on to the Atlantic Swordfish Steak with Citrus Cream, Butternut Squash-root vegetable hash and sautéed spinach. I chose the Marinated skirt steak with vegetable hash, marinated Portobello mushrooms and peppers, and ACL cranberry steak sauce. Lyd skipped dessert, but I enjoyed the New York Cheesecake with Sour Cherry Compote. At 2000, we docked in Kingston, NY. In the evening, there was a local duo performing in the Nantucket Lounge, but we skipped it in favor of bed. At 2215, it's 64 with the window open again.
