Kendra was our server. We started with drinks, of course. Lew had a vodka martini (15) and I had my Maker’s Mark Manhattan (15). We also selected a bottle of Livio Felluga Pinot Grigio (67). For her first course, Lew selected Caprese (17) with fresh mozzarella, summer tomatoes & basil. I picked the Romaine Hearts (15) with house pancetta, breadcrumbs & classic Caesar dressing (including anchovies!). For the main course, Lew selected Tagliatelle (53) with Lobster, bread crumbs & olive oil. My entrée was Orso Brasato (49) of slow cooked veal (lamb shank also available) with polenta, porcini and tomato sott’olio. Dessert was a must, so Lew selected Fragola (13) of Roasted Strawberry Cheesecake, and Lemon Basil Sorbetto. I picked the Cioccolato (13) of a chocolate & Morello cherry torte with white chocolate gelato and hazelnut praline.
