Lew picked EVO for Tuesday's lunch.
Lew had glasses of Malbec (8) and I had the seasonal Hops Limon, which came with the Johnny Burger for $10, total.
We started with the Drunken Mussels (16.50) which were not as good as the Sherry Dijon Mussels (16.50) and were laden with French Fries(!), something we’ll ask to be omitted, should we order them again.
Lew ordered her Johnny Burger (12) with Munster cheese (1.25).
I ordered mine bun-less, with blue cheese (1.25) and sautéed onions (1).
I asked for sweet potato fries, but it came with regular fries and I didn’t complain.
We brought home the stock from the mussels which will be used in a future pasta dish.
