At 0644, it’s 65 in Brunswick, and at 0700, we set sail for Savannah.
We went down for breakfast and enjoyed the company of Dr. Cliff and Carol Stiles, the other 7-star passengers on the trip.
At 1000, we participated in Bingo in the Chesapeake Lounge, but didn’t win anything.
We went down for lunch at 1230.
We both had the Cream of cauliflower and cheddar cheese soup with bacon.
For the entrée, Lew selected The Roast Tenderloin of Pork with chili, braised greens and cornbread and I picked the crawfish stuffed lake catfish with creole rice and sauce piquant.
After lunch, Lew took a nap and I attended the ACL briefing on available trips, securing, as planned, the Ohio River in July aboard the Queen of The Mississippi.
We joined the daily cocktail party at 1730, and we docked, on schedule, in Savannah at 1800, in a light rain.
For dinner, we both enjoyed the crawfish strudel, followed by the Crab and Local Mushroom Pasta Alfredo with crab-tomato bruschetta, penne pasta, pecorino romano cheese and sautéed zucchini.
We each finished with a slice of salted caramel crunch cake.
Lew went back to the Chesapeake Lounge for entertainment by Cory Chambers.
