At 0628, it’s 47 in Savannah.
By the time I returned from the Chesapeake Lounge (5 yards forward from our cabin) we had cast off and were moving towards Beaufort, SC.
We had a Trivia Contest in the 4th deck Sky Lounge where I won a turtle tree ornament.
Lunch was at 1200 in the process of docking in Beaufort.
I started with Senate Bean Soup.
Lew chose the Grilled Angus Beef Burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, oven roasted potato wedges and a pickle spear.
I picked the Roasted Turkey Club with bacon, lettuce and tomatoes on white bread with garlic mayonnaise.
We both passed on dessert and on the afternoon tours.
At 1700, a check of our home security cameras show it is snowing.
I wore my Santa cap to cocktails and on to dinner.
We both started with the Dry-seared mushroom ragout in puff pastry with balsamic vinaigrette.
Lew had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with rice pilaf and sautéed green beans. Roasted red pepper and tartar sauce.
I had the Roast Prime Rib of Beef with baked potato and vegetable medley.
I finished with the sea salt caramel cheese cake.
After dinner, we enjoyed the Kristen and Billie Duo, who had driven up from Jacksonville for their gig.
The captain offered them overnight accommodations and I invited them to breakfast.
At 2200, it’s 43.
