The Salisbury Traffic and Safety Advisory Committee (STSAC), established through Resolution 744 was appointed by the Mayor and City Council in 2002 with the ability and initiative: To study traffic conditions throughout the City as a whole and in part on a continuous basis. ~~~ To set up guidelines for, and oversee, all Process Action Teams in any neighborhood that may have a valid traffic or safety concern. ~~~ To provide recommendations to the Mayor, City Council and corresponding Technical Committee on all changes needed to the City's transportation network to improve and maintain the efficiency and safety of vehicular traffic. ~~~ To establish long range goals for the future of Salisbury and prepare for the growth of our City with sound advice on long range traffic congestion possibilities. | ||
