Toffee House Cookies  
This comes from the Toll House Cookie recipe.
Ingredients:
2 sticks butter
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2.25 cups flour
8 oz Heath English toffee bits
1 cup chopped black walnuts
Procedures:
Cream the butter and white sugar and then add the next 5 ingredients.
Fold in the flour.
Fold in the toffee bits and nuts.
Drop on to parchment paper-lined cookie sheets.
Bake at 375o for 15 minutes.
Notes:
2021-12-14: In lieu of chocolate chips, we used Heath toffee bits, creating Toffee House Cookies, making 5 trays at 17 minutes in a 375 oven.
