Lobster Tails, Steamed
There is a recipe for broiling the lobster tails.
Ingredients:
Several Lobster tails (bigger is NOT better)
Procedures:
Place the steamer basket in the bottom of a pot of water and boil until steaming. Place the fully defrosted tails on the steamer rack and steam for 20 minutes. Cut free the soft "belly" of the tail and the press down firmly, under a towel, to "break" the tail. Peel away the shell pieces and serve.
Notes:
2025-12-27: Served with a bottle off Rosso Dolce.
2025-07-25: Two tails were steams, shelled, and served with ears of corn, twice-baked potatoes and a bottle of Prosecco.
2025-02-17: A pair for President’s Day
2024-05-01: We steamed 2 tails, and served them cold with cocktail sauce, with Mac & cheese and a Riesling.
