At 1745, we walked to Aux Anciens Canadian for dinner.
Lyd ordered a Vodka Martini (12.95) and I had a pair of Basil Hayden Manhattans (15.95) which were excellent, and the right color!
Though a prixfix, prepaid dinner, we elected additions.
Lyd elected a crab cake (+8) which seemed to be made from flaked snow crab and I enjoyed a fabulous Garlic Escargot au Gratin (+6).
Lyd moved on to the French Onion Soup (+7) and I enjoyed the Lobster Bisque (+8).
For her entrée, Lyd picked "Grandma's Treat" of Quebec meat pie, meatball ragout, salt pork grillades and baked beans.
I picked "Trapper's Treat" (+8) of Lac St-Jean meat pie and Canadian Bison Stew.
