We're off to EPCOT, where, once again, we'll have an 0800 admission, ahead of general admission at 9. We're going directly to Soarin', on Standby and then doubling back to Spaceship Earth, also on Standby. At 0915, we have a Fast Pass for Mission Space, which we have never done. From there, we'll wander a bit before our 1155 lunch at Le Cellier in Canada. The afternoon will, again, be occupied with naps before we take the monorail over to the Grand Floridian and a 1920 dinner at Narcoossee's. | |||
At 0630, it’s 72 at Walt Disney World. We left the room about 0800 for the two-monorail ride to EPCOT. We entered before the general population, once again taking advantage of the Early Magic Hours available to on-property guests. We went directly to Soarin’ and, after about a 20-minute wait, enjoyed the entertaining ride. We walked across Future World and used our Fast Passes at Mission Space, utilizing the less-stressful green option. It was fun to be a part of a crew of four astronauts simulating a circumnavigation of the globe. We walked back to Spaceship Earth and found the line daunting so, instead headed for Imagination, where the wait was only about 20 minutes. Exiting in the gift shop, we presented ourselves at the podium for the Disney Vacation Club members’ lounge and went up and had a cold drink. We enjoyed the Pixar short films of “Get A Horse”, “Piper”, and “Feast.” We then strolled out into World Showcase through the crowds enjoying the many Food and Wine Festival venues. We arrived in Canada just in time for our 1155 reservation. Following lunch, we took in the Oh Canada movie, recognizing additional scenes from our August trip. We then headed back to the room and afternoon naps. At 1830, we headed for the monorail, which was quite crowded, for our journey over to the Grand Floridian and Narcoossee's. From there, we returned to the room. Enhanced fireworks (if such a thing is possible) went off at 2200. |
