This would appear to be the 11th End-of-Year newsletter we have composed using the technology of the day, including links. Strictly speaking, once again, this is not a "letter." Those are missives in a pleasant type face, on fancy holiday "paper", carefully folded and sent through snail-mail with something attached called a "postage stamp!"(45 46 cents, I think) Last year's letter is here.

Our daily activities are all listed in our 2013 Journal. The year's milestones and highlights are as follows:

Health
Issues
At our ages, I suppose annual letters start with health updates. I avoided the prostatic biopsy this year, but the prostate cancer isn't going to go away; just not very important. The doctor reduced my insulin and started me on Victoza. The same doctor ordered Lyd's colonoscopy, but it was negative. Margaret, Lyd's mother, at 102, is in excellent health for her age and we go out to lunch twice a week.
Travel Our travel this year included trips on the Mississippi, Disney World in April for the Commissioner's Academic Challenge; Tom to Europe and Disney World for the family in September.
Renovation We replaced the family room fireplace. As we continue to make this house into our own, we renovated the downstairs bathroom off the family room and replaced the floor in the family room.
Theater Tom was cast as an Ozian in the Community Players of Salisbury's production of The Wizard of Oz.
Family
Visits
We went north to see Sal, Kate, Dominic and Leo on: 03-2907-0608-2409-1410-26; and they came to see us on: 02-1604-2606-1508-3111-2312-25.  Kate opened her association with Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners in January.
2014 In 2014, we'll return to WDW in April for the CAC. We've booked an ACL cruise in Alaska in July. We'll do a family week in Ocean City in October and return to Disney World for a week for the two of us in November.

Merry Christmas, 2013 and Happy New Year, 2014
