This would appear to be the 9th End-of-Year newsletter we have composed using the technology of the day, including links. Strictly speaking, once again, this is not a "letter." Those are missives in a pleasant type face, on fancy holiday "paper", carefully folded and sent through snail-mail with something attached called a "postage stamp!"(44 cents, I think)
Last year's letter is here.

Kate and Sal have added to our joy by presenting Leo Thomas Ferrarello, born September 10th. He and Dominic are the high point of our lives. As doting grandparents, we do keep a record, periodically, of the developmental pictures of both Dominic and Leo. Although we stopped celebrating monthly birthdays for Nico, now that he's had his 3rd birthday, we do for Leo.

Our daily activities are listed in our 2011 Journal. The year's milestones and highlights are as follows:

As we continue to make this house into our own, we installed sliding glass doors as the outside entrance to the family room. We enclosed the family room cabinets with doors and renovated the front door to the house with a small porch, roof and columns.
Margaret, Lyd's mother, went with us, in April, to Walt Disney World, for the 2nd year. The Disney cast members treated her like royalty, everywhere we went. In September, we celebrated her 100th birthday.
Medically, we were OK. But, Margaret, following the April trip to WDW, suffered a drop in oxygen levels and was in and out of the hospital for about two months. At this time, however, she's home and doing fine.
We joined the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) in May of 2010. In 2011, we celebrated Lyd's 62nd birthday in February at Bay Lake Tower. We invited the Pivack family from Kiev, Ukraine, to join us at WDW for a week, but they couldn't get visas. Lyd had never been to the Grand Canyon, so in September, we participated in Adventures by Disney's Southwest Splendors.
Tom became active in the Community Players of Salisbury. His debut was as Sir Henry Angetell in Agatha Christie's "The Hollow" in June. In August, we drove up to DC to see Wicked at the Kennedy Center, with Margaret attending. In November, Tom appeared as Reporter #6 in the musical Chicago. As the year closes, rehearsals have begun for Agatha Christie's "The Mouse Trap." Tom is the stage manager.
We went to see the family on 7/4, 7/28, 9/18, and 11/12 and they came to see us on 1/21, 3/6, 5/13, 6/17, and 12/24. Bill and Cindy were here on 5/21.
In December, Tom found, and joined, the Delmarva Model Railroad Club.
Next Year, 2012, will find us returning to Disney World in February and April. We're also going to take a cruise with American Cruise Lines on the Chesapeake Bay, in June

Merry Christmas, 2011 and Happy New Year, 2012
